My name is Clinton Harris and I am a freelance writer, travel journalist, and photographer living on the road in a skoolie with my yellow lab, Penny. Together we have been chasing the seasons and traveling all over North America. My love of new experiences, places to eat, and meeting interesting people everywhere I go fuels my appetite for solo adventuring.
My works have appeared in ROVA Magazine, Perceptive Travel, Big Life Magazine, the Flyfish Journal, the Vintage Seeker, and many others! For the last 12 years, I have been creating content for companies. My first novel, Song of the Cinder, was published in 2014. My short stories have appeared in numerous magazines over the years. I’ve been blogging for a long time, but this site is a new project, which documents my travels around the world.
I started this journey in September of 2023. I want to reach readers who might have been considering solo travel but might not know where to begin. I hope to bring out the sense of wonder and excitement of what calls many of us to travel. As the saying goes, the longest journey begins with the first step!
